How do I get a girl out of my head?

There is a girl I am kind of seeing, and she is CONSTANTLY in my head. I just dont want to think of her so much. I want to be with her, so I dont want to get her completely out.... I try to distract myself with TV and stuff but that only works temporarily.

Any advice?

Enjoy it while it lasts. Either it'll wear off eventually, or she'll dump your ass, and then you'll have a girl constantly in your head that you aren't kind of seeing, which is a colossally worse feeling.

Are these thoughts of her distracting you from something important?

I was out of the country for a month and we talked pretty much everyday (Maybe 2-3 times we didnt talk). I was usually the one that started the conversation (Texting via msn). Last night her and her best friend were going to stay over but went to a town about 40 mins away and I asked if they still wanted to come over later and they said they wernt sure... I texted her a few hours later and just asked if she wanted to just come over tomorrow (today) instead because I wasnt feeling good.. But never heard back from her. Today, im not going to text her at all (Not because im mad, but just because I dont want to seem too obsessive), ill text her tomorrow.. Her best friend and her are supposed to go shopping today and im gonna take their pictures tomorrow.

I did talk to her best friend briefly on facebook while she was at her house but I didnt text the girl im seeing. And I dont want to text her all the time or expect her to hang out with me 24/7 because her friend is only up for a few days and she lives about 5 hours away.

But she is still on my mind constantly and I cant get her out.. No its not distracting me from anything important but when im not doing anything, I think about her.

Tell her! But don't be a creeper about it. Give her her space and don't forget about your own interests. Just tell her she is always on your mind. Girls love that stuff. Enjoy it!

Wait Brandon, before you tell her that, do you think that she is always on your mind because you like her, and/or because you are not getting her attention? I don't think the feeling is enjoyable then, because you are waiting for a response you are not getting, and that is not healthy.

What I would recommend you to do is something active, not passive like watching TV. Play some video-games, hang out with friends, talk on the phone with someone else, do stuff, go out. Don't seem too available for her. It seems like you are handling it pretty well already, by not texting her again, and you are going to see her the next day anyways, talk to her then. Don't ask her why she did not text you back, forget that ever happened, make other plans tomorrow. Take care, and Goodluck!
