it died like not even an hour ago. i dont know what to do. i'm sitting alone in my house.
toy maltese named topher.
the little thing just made all these noises and i reacted as fast as i could and we ran to take him to the emergency room but he died on the way there. its little lifeless body and my sister was screaming.
it isnt fair. i hate those little dumb toy dogs. all they do is die. you love them so much and they just die. for no fucking reason he just died.
i'm sorry i'm venting here. i dont have friends to turn to. only my boyfriend and you guys. i just dont know what to do now. i shouldve reacted faster.

its sounds like you did all you could. sometimes there isn't anything you can do. all popular breeds have health problems due to over breeding and all you can do is love your pup. isn't that what they are for? just remember your pup loved you and you loved your pup and you did all you knew how. thats all your pup ever asked for.

Well, Im sure there is a reason it died. Smaller dogs live longer than large ones.....how old was this maltese? Where there any health probs?
*hugs* Im so sorry. Its not you fault though so dont blame yourself.

I'm sorry to hear about your dog dying.
sometimes the reasons for them dying are so unexplained it's hard to know why.
I wish you all the best. you did all that you could for the dog.
Take care.

i shouldve reacted faster.
And do what? Emergency exploratory surgery?
You did what you could. Its not like you are TRAINED for any of this. This is the way life works. You do the best you can. You don't always succeed.
I'm reading a lot of pain in your post. You're trying to cover it up, but I think I see it. I'm not sure where to go with this. (Now I feel helpless)
The best I can offer: (((HUGS)))

Are you feeling any better? You have my condolences, a loved dog is a member of the family. I know I'll be upset when mine dies, which of course he will.
