Without going to a doctor, or taking a pregnancy test...
...what are some signs you could use to suspect pregnancy?

you don't get your period on time. that's #1, and it's all you get until you're about one month pregnant at which point you might get morning sickness, cramps, cravings.
of course, not getting your perod on time might just mean it's a couple of days late. so don't freak until it's been a week or so. then get a test.
why Chiu? think you might be preggers?

Yes, I think I'm pregnant. Hahaha.
Nah, I'm just wondering in case...
We had genital contact so there's a chance of pregnancy, no matter how small.

Eek chiu! always protect yourself *shakes finger at you* HEREs some general interesting stuff (though you may not find it useful because it DOES require some real doctorage :))
[i]It seems a little diabolical that every early pregnancy symptom can also be explained away by something else.
Late period? Stress or normal irregularity.
Swollen breasts and belly? Premenstrual syndrome.
Nausea? Stomach flu or food poisoning.
Intense hunger? PMS or… intense hunger.
The most common cause of a missed period is pregnancy, but exactly when does a late period become "missed?" Making it even worse are hormones. If your period is just late, you may be flooded with premenstrual anxiety. If you are pregnant, well, there are those hormones making you feel obsessed. I told you: Crazy-making.
When you suspect that you are pregnant, it does little good to know that we live in an era where we get to know the results relatively swiftly. In our mother's and grandmother's eras, you had to wait until the pregnancy hormones in your urine, injected in a rabbit, either killed it (pregnant!) or didn't (not pregnant!) Now, of course, we have four or five ways of knowing if we are pregnant, all without offending our animal rights sensibilities:
1. Intuition. I swear I know exactly when I conceived, both times. (Okay, the first time was a no-brainer, but that's another story). Many women just have a feeling. Perhaps it's a change in the body, perhaps it's something larger than that. Of course, intuition is often wrong, and probably just as often, women think they're pregnant, and they are not.
2. and 3. There's the doctor's office urine test, and there's the laboratory urine test. Both of these are virtually 100% accurate if done 7- 10 days after conception. Of course, you'll need to go in to the doctor's office or the lab, and they sometimes make you wait until your period is a week late.
4. The Blood Serum test. This is the most informative of all the tests, because it tells you not only if you are pregnant, but how pregnant you are. Blood serum tests take a little of your drawn blood and measure the actual level of pregnancy hormones, so you can estimate your due date pretty effectively (the urine tests just register whether or not the hormones are present). Since blood tests are more expensive than urine tests, a lot of HMOs don't want doctors to order them.
5. And, of course, the Home Pregnancy Tests, otherwise known as HPTs. . HPTs are urine tests that you do in the privacy of your own bathroom. Stop by any drugstore, and you'll find many brands of HPTs on the shelves, ranging in price from $6.99 on super-sale, to two for $17.99. My favorite HPT advertises "keepsake results," which means you can take the little urine-dipped positive result (or negative result, too, I guess) and encase it in a little plastic heart. Your first addition to the new baby book (aww). Because you get to do the test yourself, when you want to, HPTs are the best thing to come happen for women since birth control accessibility and the death of the corset. The problem with HPTs is that they give a lot of false negatives. The other problem with HPTs is that they are expensive (especially if you're like the Energizer bunny, as many women are, and keep testing, and testing, and testing…)"

Sidedish:
A pregnancy test becomes positive 17 days from ovulation.
Sidedish: The only fool proof way to tell if someones pregnant is by seeking medical attention. There are so many things that can cause a missed period (Stress) or a little bloating (pms), so its hard to tell. Sorry guy :)

Why not just buy a home pregnancy test? They're in the pharmacy next to the condoms ;-)

She teases me about it, I don't know. I guess I'm worrying too much about it. I'm just... really really really not ready to be a parent.
Blah!!

First signs are delay in menstruation, constant fatigue(feeling sleepy all the time), hormonal problems like mood swings and depression, stress, frequent urination, morning sickness(nausea and vomiting, which can happen anytime of the day and not just mornings), painful cramps, swollen breasts, headaches, food cravings...a big change in appetite...
Chiu, is her period late?...If it is you really should get a home pregnancy test, they're pretty accurate, only cost about $10.
Oh and its a good thing to worry about this...it shows that you're responsible.

*lana reads symptoms and plays along, but answers for real*: Late period? Cannot be determined yet...
Stress or normal irregularity? STRESS! I'm in constant stress! I have a heightened abnormal heartbeat at times...
Swollen breasts and belly? Breasts yes... in fact they are sore right now.
Premenstrual syndrome. I always get that... it's really terrible.
Nausea? Stomach flu or food poisoning. Yes, I've been getting those when I'm feeling stressed.
Intense hunger? PMS or… intense hunger. Intense hunger? Hahaha! I have a big appetite at times... *licks lips* You know what they say about girls with BIG appetities...

Well I'd like to think that a girl wouldn't have to check...while having sex they would usually just know(that he ejaculated)...or he should tell her.

Seriously, don't get all worried up and stuff... It happened to me a couple of months ago, I was like FREAKED cause we were dry humping and I sorta thought his pre-cum would actually seep through his undies, through mine.... and GOD i thought i was pregnant.... (OK I was young and stupid then, don't blame me...!) And to make me even crazier, my period was like, 10 days late.... Well let's say we were the happiest ppl alive when we discovered I was bleeding..!!! Hahahaha ..... So I guess, don't worry too much, but yeah, late period's a common sign.... But then of course it could be stress, like what happened in MY case....!

At first for a couple years, I had many irregular or missed periods...and I think a lot of that was due to stress...I would miss like three in a row, without having something serious wrong with me...and I was a virgin so I always knew being pregnant wasn't the case.

I wouldn't worry.
There is a chance of getting pregnant through contact that isn't actually SEX sex, but it's very low.
That doesn't mean that it doesn't exist, but it's still a small, small possibility. If it is late, tell her to get a pregnancy test or get one yourself.
It must be weird posting about this sot of thing on here when your girlfriend is a member too!
Remember, if she is pregnant, there are a lot of options still available to you, especially if you find out early. So go do something! :)

another thing you might want to consider is that stress does NOT help your persiod...
so if you're stressing out that you're period is not on time, that might cause your period to be delayed.
catch 22...
