I kind of feel like this is spamy but it is just too amazing to pass up. Take a look at what happens when a burmese python tries to swallow an alligator whole.

Some clown I used to know had pythons and fed them rats that were too big. Needless to say the same thing happened. Yes, he did it twice.

I really need to go on a diet.

That snake wasn't as large as they get (20 feet) so I think if these pythons become more agressive and more common, they might replace the alligator as the dominant species.

That's most definately an awesomely cool thing. Snakes > Alligators.

I really am not bothered by snakes at all, until I see them try stunts like this.

Crazy reptillian bastards.

i'm just wondering, what are burmese snakes doing in florida...did some moron decide to let a bunch of them loose ? way to screw up the ecosystem

No, some jackass (or many jackasses) bought 'em as pets and then let 'em loose in the wild as opposed to taking care of them.

When I was a kid there was a creepy motherfucker in my neighborhood who people hardly ever saw. And then one day, a 15 foot long boa constrictor tried to eat one of the neighborhood children. Apparently this guy had over 150 different types of snake in his basement, most of them dangerous, a lot of them endangered/illegal to own.

Creepy bastard.

Someone let the burmese python lose in the Everglades which is bad bad bad because I think that they could adapt easily to the environment and potentially take over an already endangered ecosystem.

Though, if they keep exploding.....

I used to have a boa. Damn that thing was great. I hated my mom for years when she made me get rid of it. It was awesome to watch the thing eat. Started out with two mice a week, and when I got rid of it, it was up to 5 rabbits a week.

And oh, that is kinda scary to think about, instead of look out for the gators, it's gonna be the snakes....... and snakes adapt rather well, they evolve, colors evolve and etc. It may be one day in the woods, think your stepping on a log, and instead, into a snake you go..... Cooooooooolllllll..... Thats how I wanna die.
