I went to see the Indians last game of the season today against the White Sox. I didn't expect much because I knew that they had to win just to stay alive(and the Yankees had to beat Boston)..And we've been choking against Chicago. I guess I didn't think it would be so heartbreaking..*sigh* Most of the fans cheered to the very end.

93 games won without getting into the playoffs. I guess there's always next year. :(

I live in Red Sox country although I'm a Blue Jays fan. Over here people are ecstatic about the Red Sox making the playoffs again over the Indians loss. Being that I'm not a fan, I don't really care and would have preferred that neither the Yankees or Red Sox made the playoffs but rather two different teams that I haven't seen in a while.

Well at least you won 93 games, the Jays finished under .500 and sucked the entire second half of the year. It's been next year for us going on 12 years now :(

Yeah, I'm a Giant's fan myself........but WOW did the NL West suck this year....

Just think, if the Tigers were in the NL West, their manager probably wouldn't have been fired for losing 91 games - they would have been in playoff contention until the last two weeks of the year!
