Awww. What a shame. I watched both Get Smart and Inspector Gadget when I was little. Hell... I have the Inspector Gadget theme song as one of my ringtones. And all those funny James Bond gadget knockoffs in Get Smart... like the Cone of Silence and the shoe phone. Classic.

Well maybe one good thing will come from his death and that is TV Land will run a Get Smart marathon. That channel needs revived desperately.

Heard of Get Smart before but never seen it, and had no idea he was Inspector Gadget.

That was definitely one of my fave childhood shows.
