Sorry guys. The hacker totally obliterated General Discussion. We have backups, but they're old enough to where we may as well just regenerate the content of this forum. I'm confident we can light this forum up in no time with plenty of "Why does President Bush hate midgets" and other threads of that nature. ;)
Sorry for the inconvenience guys...

What's with the yellow...tulips? Seem like an odd choice. :)

Perhaps broken hearts would be better? lol

Broken hearts? C'mon, we're trying to stay positive here people. :)
I chose the tulips because everyone else will put roses. ;) Tulips are still nice flowers. An odd choice, perhaps, but we'll see how they work out.

Holy hell, for a sec there I thought I was deleted but all is well! I am still trying to get used to this format (granted I have been on for a couple minutes, but still). Is it going to stay as is at this moment?
Yay for tulips! They are just a tad big, everything here feels big and chunky. Is it just me?

vB's elements are usually a bit larger than other software. I dunno, it can be kinda nice, but then again my resolution's kinda high (1280x1024) so I probably don't notice as much.

I'll have to mess around with mine, though it seems like it is small, but that may just be the Mac.

I'm still fiddling with a lot of the styling aspects, too. This theme we have still has a lot of the vB default stuff in it. I'm sure if I went through more of the code I could streamline a few things.

I am getting REAL tired of this.
Why is it that every time some di#khead with a Mac decides to see how much fun it would be to f$@k with us, it takes WEEKS to set things up again? Can't this all be saved to disk or something? I mean I'm no computer wiz (prolly a really good thing I've never been asked to Mod) but must it be so difficult to get this place back online when we get screwed?

The problem with the delay on getting the forums back up and running again was the conversion to a different software which the forum runs on. We COULD have been back up the next day (if not the same day) if we wanted to continue running IPB, however the exploit that left us open to the attack would have remained and we would have been open to repeat attacks. The decision was made to switch to a better and (hopefully) more secure forum software after the attack... talks of which had been going on amongst the staff for quite some time before the incident.

He's really hit it on the head. It didn't help that this time around, someone had posted on a website that we were vulnerable. I could not, in good conscience, continue using IPB at that point.
