As many of you know (or not), I'm running a site called, "Daily Interesting Links" ( http://www.di-links.com ). I'm lacking traffic right about now and I'm trying my best to get other webmasters that run revelant sites to mine to swap links but they all seem to relate to porn in someway which I'm not aiming for. I'm keeping my site PG-13.


Anyways, anyone know anyways that I can get more traffic; free and/or paid (as cheap as possible preferbaly) methods? I've tried banner exchanges, text exchanges, and button exchanges. Although they sometimes produce traffic, it's not quite that much since my site doesn't get as many hits to actually get my impressions credits up.

Try traffic exchanges. My favorite is RewardingTraffic. You just open it up and surf other peoples pages. For every two pages you view, you get one visitor to your page. Plus, every week, the number of pages you visit gets converted to cash and you get a portion of the company's profits Pretty sweet deal. Or, you can go to Viewswap (http://viewswap.com). There's no signing up or anything. You just put your link into one of the tables and then view that number of pages In return, that same number of people will visit your page.

I have a couple of other ways to advertise your site for free. They take a little more time and effort, but it's better quality traffic. PM me if you want them.

I have spent nothing on advertising so far, and I just want to get input as to what people don't like about the online dating industry FIRSTHAND and improve on that. As this is a relationship forum thought this the ideal place to let you guys know about my site. I'm an NLP Master Practitioner but with a difference! The difference being that I am able to do remote viewing and telepathy to get to the real core issues of problems. To those of you who don't know what the hell I'm talking about, basically in order to get to the root cause of problems between two people, I tune in to the relationship and the dynamics of the two people and can pin point the real issues and problems that are there. Once you know what the problem is, there's a lot you can do to help resolve the issues (if both parties want that). Sometimes, even if one person is trying to work things out and the other person isn't, it's possible to "enlighten" the other person so that their focus is along the same lines. I've found in the years that I've been doing this, that a lot of issues which are minor tend to escalate to such a degree that things cannot be turned around, however, IF the core issues are found, and this is what I try and do, then a lot of the problems tend to resolve themselves...

Well I've just done a Suicide Intervention course and it's been really inspiring. So I looked for some decent forums on suicide if I could help out. I found www.takethislife.com to be decent and, believe it or not I actually enjoy perusing the forums and trying to throw in an uplifting post here and there. Of course it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea but I know there's a lot of people on here who like just helping people and actually www.takethislife.com doesn't have many people supporting the suicidal peeps except... other suicidal peeps.
