This dog is...just sooooo ugly....

The world's ugliest dog is capturing his 15 minutes of hideous fame. As reported earlier in What's New, Sam, a 14-year-old pedigreed Chinese crested won--for the third time in a row--the title of World's Ugliest Dog. Now he's turned into a media darling.

Sam is tiny. He has no hair except for a yellow-white tuft that juts surprisingly out of his head. His ears are fleshy and thin, resembling potato chips. His brown skin is wrinkled and covered with splotches. He has a line of warts running down his snout. His milky white eyes are blind and alien-looking. To top it all off, there's a fleshy flap of skin on his neck. Oh yeah, don't forget the buck teeth.

There was a story about him in the Edmonton Sun a while back too, and yeah, he's pretty scary looking, but I wonder what he's like. That'd be hilarious if he was like, the friendliest dog ever.

WOW.

The thing is, the poor thing is probably sick as all hell. 14 years old can be up there for a dog, specially if it's suffering from the diseases it has listed.

I hate it when people don't put their dogs down and they're clearly suffering.

*shudders* that dog looks like a cross between a troll doll and a baked potato. i hope the owner isn't keeping it alive for fame/fortune if it's suffering from those diseases.

I don't know, but I sorta feel sorry for it...until I stop looking at the list of all his illnesses and start looking back at the pictures...that kinda thing can invade my dreams...AND RUIN THEM!! I'll be having a wonderful dream about my boyfriend and I having in-depth political discussions :liar: :roll: and BAM! A FUCKIN' UGLY ASS DOG POPS OUTTA NOWHERE.
