hi i just wanted to share these cute pictures of a couple baby mice that my boyfriend and i saved. their family was murdered by stupid 14 year old boys. we found these two soaking wet and barely breathing. their eyes are still closed, but they are pretty active. we've been giving them kitten formula.

Good for you. Awwww, the poor darlings. Many yrs ago, my dad once found a baby bird that fell out of its nest(in our backyard). So he took a plastic milk gallon jug and cut it in half. Made a good nest out of it with leaves and stuff. Put the birdie inside and placed it in the branches of our small tree. Soon after, the mom joined her baby! It was so cute.

About...13 years ago my sister and I found a robin's egg outside and we brought in to keep it warm, with the hopes of hatching it. We put it under my sister's comforter and...
...then my sister pulled a Heifer from Rocko's Modern Life and jumped onto her bed and sat on it.

Omelette, anyone?
Those are cute. I can't wait till they start thinking you're their mother hehe. My gf works with rats that size.

Aww! My ex bf and I found a baby duck in his driveway last summer, which is strange cuz we couldnt figure out how the hell it got there. Anyways we put it in a fish aquarium, without water of course. Put grass and all kinds of neat stuff in there, but it died a few days later.

Those are most certainly rats, just look at the snout/nose.
A full grown field mouse or doormouse is about the size of one of those baby rats.

Oh sure, they're cute when they're harmless babies...but one year later they get the shovel.

They are beautiful! I'm going to agree with most others and venture a guess that they are rats. But don't be scared, rats are the most awesome pets! They're smart and affectionate and adorable.
Damn it...now I miss my rat.....

Jerky, asshole, cruel, idiotic, fuckfaced kids like that deserve to be kicked in their balls and shown how cruel they are. I can't think of anything really cruel enough....little brats.

yeah it made me sick, they had no remorse for what they had done, they thought it was funny. they didn't even clean them up. they left the bodies there and my boyfriend had to shovel them up and toss them. i just hate how people have no respect for living things. i understand they're rodents, but it doesn't mean they had to slaughter them.

That is repulsive. What a bunch of assholes. Its one thing to feed a mouse to a snake/lizard (my beardie used to eat pinky mice a long time ago but then got too mellowed out or something, lol) but senseless violence like this...Its sickening. I swear, kids are evil in their early teens.

I think the kids were spoiled, ate a lot of chocolate and fatty foods, and were jealous of the mice for having necks.
Re: slaughtering animals needlessly: think about this thread next time you kill an "icky spider" for the crime of being icky. :)

You know, a lot of the time dangerous adults start out as kids who get their jhonnies out of torturing animals. If you know who those kids were (and if their parents would care), you should "rat" on them. They need to be taught that it's not FUN to kill things.
