BCP Weirdness

I've been on Ortho-Tricyclin Lo for nine months now and never had this happen before. I take my pill at 11:00 pm at night and I'm a Sunday starter. Normally, I get my period the Wednesday night or Thursday morning after I start the placebos. However, this month, I seem to have gotten it a week early, the Thursday after starting my third set of pills.

Does anyone know what could have caused this? I haven't had *any* problems with spotting or anything in the past nine months and this seems more than just spotting. It seems like I'm getting my period a week early (I have the PMS symptoms to go along with it!). I haven't missed any pills either. Could the pills have been inert for some reason?

I'm not sexually active, so that's not a concern. I was actually going to skip this month due to a trip, so this is almost a good thing, but I'm still a bit worried. Doctor appointment time?

Have you been sick? Or had diarrhea? The only thing that I can think of is that maybe your body didn't 'absorb' the pills properly.

It's an odd one - it's never happened to me - I'd say it'd be a good idea to see a doctor - perhaps the pills are too low-dosage.
