6 Week Summer

The Days Flew by that year
the pace was blazing
the 6 week summer
we forgot to enjoy
turned into a lasting memory of nothing.

I live for the day
at least thats what i thought
but when thoughts fail to become actions
all is lost in a dream beyond alls reach.

We are strive to be perfect
but just end up dissipointing
through failure comes success
its a trial by fire
what doesent kill us today
just might tomorrow.

I beg you too look
at what we were not what we have become
a manifestation of our minds
a fire that consumes all thats around it
blazing in the darkness,
those were the shades of an eternal night
