For the last year I've been ticked off using PS 7.0 cause I can't find a f*cking thing in CS and PS 7.0 is getting old (I guess it still works...). Any comments on CS2?

Well I have CS, and I don't have any complaints. I really haven't looked into CS 2, are there any drastic changes over CS?
Hopefully CS2's price will go down, but I doubt it since they now control the entire enterprise.
I kinda of feel sorry for anyone who took the time to master Freehand lol

Rofl, I know one guy whos hardcore Freehand/Fireworks and he makes fun of me for using PS. So jokes.
Did u actually BUY your copy? I don't have $700 to spare for a licence, thats crazy.

I still "borrow" my copy lol. But, when I graduate from college, depending upon the program I'm using, I will definitly buy a copy.
And sucks for your friend lol. Freehand's one thing, but anyone who took the time to learn Fireworks just completely wasted all their time, that's one program that Adobe won't keep in the merger.

Well, I do alot of modelling/skinning, so any added compatibility between Maya/PS is appreciated.
Fireworks is ok... for idiots... its basically a slightly suped up MS Paint (NO VECTOR BASED DRAWING AHHHHHHHHHHHHH).

I think CS was a big improvement over 7 (the improvements to the healing brush alone were huge). I'm looking forward to CS2, especially the spot healing brush and the ability to use the exposure adjustment tool on non-RAW images, but I probably won't get to play with it much (if at all) now that I've moved on from my job with the photographer. I'm still going to be going in part time this summer though, so if I can convince him to upgrade, I'll get to play ;)
