this one's fairly simple...since there are a bunch of people who take awesome photographs on this site, i'd like everyone to post ONE picture that they've taken, and that they think is the best they've ever taken.
here's mine : it's my friend Luk, drinking a beer, smoking a cigarette...the focus is strange because i shot it with a digital camera, so it's weird that the beer bottle is in focus but he isn't...also, the blue light is real, it was taken in a deserted hallway where the only light was a blue neon sign...anyway, i just love the damn pic

edit : i've decided to link since the pic is so big
also, representing my home town of leuven :)...home to the biggest brewing company in the world

I'm still fairly fond of my drunken uber-artschooly self-portraits.

I wish I could remember this night a little better...
I kind of thought I was going crazy when I finished developing the contact sheet.

Dammit! I can never pick just one. :P

It's so hard to pick one...
Right now I feel like it's this one:

There are obvious flaws like the distracting handles on the window, and I have "better" photos... but I like it.

Some of these are really cool.
BTW, what do you use to put the black border around the image? Do you just make it yourself with rectangles in Paint (=P) or is there a simpler way of doing it, say... Photoshop?

Photoshop is obviously a much more precise way of doing it.
1) Select all.
2) Make a new layer above the image, and add a stroke.
3) Choose background color for the border.
4) Increase canvas size, and it'll leave the 1 px stroke around the image, as well as the larger border.
Of course, you can also just center the image in a large canvas and mess around with strokes, yada yada. There are tons of ways to do this, but I've found the above to be the easiest.

Well, I can give you a favourite, but it's a close call, so I'm going to post my second and third choices as well. You'll have to forgive the lack of risque artsiness and wierd lighting; I'm just a landscape photographer, after all :P

You have the skin for photography, you really do. =P

HA. No I don't, not really. I have to have decent lighting, and a really low film speed, or the graininess makes me worse.
Its not that my skin is BAD, but it can be really blotchy.

Your friend there is pretty cute ;). I definitely like the B&W, and I also like the fact that it's B&W. It wouldn't have quite the same impact in colour.

I found it in the middle of nowhere while I was hiking outside of this small town in central Turkey called Göreme.
