it's been, like, a year, so i decided to write another (crappy) poem...enjoy!
I walk through the forest at night,
feet crunching along the fallen and forgotten foliage
Admiring the serene beauty of the stars above,
a million points of beauty on god’s infinite canopy
Their light is comforting, and it guides me,
their radiance is nothing compared to yours
A warm breeze moves abreast to me,
it envelops my body, for a second, I feel your hand in mine
It’s fleeting, but it makes me smile,
a smile you have many a times brought to my face.
