My girlfriend and i of almost 22 months have started to get moderately sexually active. Previously the most we ever would do was me finger or eat her out. However recently we have started to get more involved and almost all clothing has been removed.
We talked in person about it agreed that some protection should be used just to help our minds. What would you veterans know about brand, type, size(?) to get and any information on keep. I am completely new in this field and any help would be great. Thanks!

Durex Intense Sensation, or Durex Sensi-Thins.
Pretty much any condom brand/type is fine, with one major exception: for the love of GOD, do not under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WHATSOEVER get either Trojan Climax Control or Durex Performax. You WILL be sorry, I guarantee it.

Trojan actually has the highest breakage rate of major condom brands (it's still less than one in 5000, keep in mind) and I generally don't like them.
I use LifeStyles Ultra-Sensitive. Never had a break, never had a slip.

This interests me as well... other than the size of the condom, is it written on the box how big a dick the condom is for? in inches that is

If you go to college you should check if they give them out for free. My buddy gets as many lifestyles condoms as he wants so he comes back with 50 or so and gives some to me so I don't have to buy any.

Yeah they have free condom hand out day on the quad at my school as well, and I'm sure one of the health buildings gives them out as well.

I use Durex extra safe and we've never had a problem so far. And my b/f is generously endowed.

What's wrong with these types, just out of curiosity?

I don't believe it says what size they are in inches on the box...
The only reason I think that is because my boyfriend has been using regular ones for a while, and I had to push him to get magnums because it was clear that they didnt fit. I checked the boxes and couldnt find anything that said how large they are. ::shrugs::
Trial and error I suppose.

i like lifestyles ultra lubricated.
note: anything that is spermicidally lubricated (esp Durex) is very irritating for me and i usually end up with a UTI so if your girl is sensitive I dont recommend those.

Any...!!
I've never had any problems. Sometimes they slip, but that hasn't been brand related.
No, they don't have sizes on them, they do have bigger ones for bigger boys though :P

Sizes?

Don't be fooled by the website name. The page is strictly about condoms and their measurements.
it's not pornish at all (though not worksafe, seeing as how it has pictures of condoms on it)

I'm a big fan of Durex Intense Sensation but I have used almost all of the different varieties. I'm not a fan of trojans for the most part. I liked the Lifestyle Ultra Sensitive condoms that Palmer mentioned but I found the lube on the condom wore off quickly with those, so I would suggest getting some Astroglide to go with those condoms (or any condoms for that matter) in order to really enjoy things.

I swore I already responded to this one. Anyway, I'd recommend the Trojan "Ultra Pleasure" for everyday sex and if you really want to give it to her with some feeling "For Her Ultra Ribbed" by trojan is SO bumpy. I'd recommend both until a day or two ago.
We tried Trojan "love struck" which is in an orange box. HO-LA. I like it. I like it a lot. It's quite bumpy but not as 'sharp-bumpy' as Ultra Ribbed. Very nice. If you're all about staying away from nonoxynol-9 (a spermicidal lubricant that can make women itchy and irritated) stay away from this one.

Agreed! I'm just getting over a yeast infection because we used condoms that had nonoxynol-9 in them. It can be so painful.
