Lissajous Spiral- My New Tag

Hey just wanted some feedback on my new tag. The spiral was taken from an old movie poster of Alfred Hitchcock's 'Vertigo'. This tag is kinda my tribute to the movie(one of my favs). If anyone has ever seen this movie, I wanted to create the same feel and images that's in the title sequence(with the spirals) that was done by Saul Bass(a genius designer of the 20th century).

I like the spiral thingy in the tag, and the gradient you used. I'm not super fond of the text, though. It just doesn't fit very well, but that may be because of the effects.

Have you considered using a two-toned border? (ie with a stroke?)

I was thinking about it. I've seen that in lots of your tags and it always looks nice. Its probably really easy, but how exactly do you do that?

1) New layer on top.
2) Select All.
3) Stroke. (Set it to one pixel. The color doesn't really matter, since you can change it later in layers effects with the color overlay)
4) Go to effects, and give it a one pixel stroke.

Easy easy! ^_^

Thanks! All I did was use a red/orange gradient for the closeup of my face and for the spiral so it would all blend together smoothly when I merged the two pics. I used the same gradient for my eye off to the right. Then I used some starry brushes and made them glow. Last I put more focus onto the right side with a lighting effect.

This poster was a big part of my inspiration..
