This is the first in a series of what I will call rooftops. It’s amazing how contrasty the world kan be from the roof up. A roof above your head gives you protection, but has some hidden esthetic value as well. Gothic cathedrals had roof that reached for the sky. Modern lofts have roofs that double as gardens.
This first picture in the series shows the first use of “a roof", the protection from the outside and the natural elements. It gives a nice visual standoff between the roof and the imminent bad weather that is forming above it.

I probably redo this shot with a tripod, an open window and under an even more dramatic sky.
