Anyone else tired of these "RATE ME" threads?

And there's no way i'm posting a "RATE ME" thread because I am secure enough about how I look without having to put up a picture of me and ask what people think.

hmm. please don't take my post as being insulting or mean. but...well, i think you are entitled to have your own opinion. but honestly...i don't really see a point in making a thread about how you think this forum is shallow....if you want people to respect your opinion about this forum, you ought to respect theirs....and by making this thread you are probably only asking for trouble. it's fine if you don't like the forum...you don't have to post a rate me topic or even come in it, though, if you don't. there's no valid point in saying how you think this forum is stupid/pointless/etc....if you don't like it, why not just avoid it? you are only fueling the fire. unless you WANT to start a healthy debate about it :wink:

you might notice that everyone hits the 'damn you fugly bastard' on MofP's thread, but thats just fun. i always say he's ugly. but i actually think he's sexy, in fact i've got his photo stuck up on the back of my toilet door. ooooh baby!

it's all a bit of fun.

Well, Kristin was rather blunt about it, but I have to agree. This forum is called "Mirror, Mirror" because it serves the purpose of how members see other members. Is there a bit of vanity involved? Of course. That's the point.

y'know what? I'm complelty secure with how I look too, I wanted to put a picture up because It's fun. You don't have to put one up, but I don't paticularly like comming into a forum and seeing someone bitching about it. Some people may want people to say what they think, but it's mostly fun.
