Yes, I am a big dork and let my bf give me my first-ever hickey last night, and let me tell you, it's not pretty. It's on my boob :o !

Well, everything would be peachy keen, but my mom has decided that she wants to do a little prom dress shopping...TODAY! :o

If she sees it what am I supposed to say? Better yet, do you guys have any tips on how to hide/conceal it?!
:(

Ok to conceal it (for the most part this works but as you sweat it will wear off) take a concealer crayon and color over it (it will still look somewhat dark but better) press somer powder on it then hold some ice in a paper towel on it and the blackness should go down. 2. if your mom does notice it say that you dropped your hair dryer on your boob this morning...I've dropped my hair dryer there before and it hurt like hell but it did look like I had a hickey so this can work. You can also ask her if you can change in the dressing room yourself this way she won't see anything at all. Hope this Helps.

Man oh man...that sucks. Say it's an injury like Piglet suggested...and if she says anything about it being a hickey, give her a disgusted look and sound offended. I do that all the time when I'm trying to conceal/lie about something...works like a fuckin' charm!

I once had a hickey and my mom noticed it (it wasn't on my boob though) and I told her it was a rash. She believed me haha.

According to my roommate up here, you can take a needle (clean it with alcohol first..infections are bad!) and make a little prick where the hickey is, then you can sort of squeeze/drain it.

I've never had one and I've never heard of this until she told me...don't hold me to this. Just passing on advice from one girl to another

I'd avoid untested solutions involving poking holes in your skin . . . :o

The 'folk remedy' I've heard is that if you massage the hickey, it encourages the bloodflow and hastens its' disappearance. It still takes a day or two, though . . .

You could try putting a band-aid over it and say you got cut there or something.

Of course it'll look kinda weird having a band-aid on your boob but.... thats all I can think of.

Thanks for all the tips guys...she saw it! :o

I told her my sister pinched me, he he he.

When in doubt, blame it on the younger sibling... :evil2:

But, I did cover it up, and iced it (thank you piglet13), so it looked a little lighter and not as purple and "hickey-ish".....thank you all!

Why would she be with you when you are getting changed & A general question. Why do people want to hide them?

Well, moms want to see what they're spending a helluva lot of money on, and sometimes you need someone to zip up the back. Most of us dont want our parents seeing those unsightly bruises

I know it's a bit late, but I'll say this anyway...
I recently had a mole removed from my neck, and was told to keep polysporin on the 'gash' with a band-aid over it to keep it moist for a "better cosmetic result"... You have no idea how many people have commented on my "hickey" this past week! So with my comments and someone posting about band-aids already, I guess a band-aid actually is a popular solution..?

I dunno if this would be safe for a just-removed mole (which it is, right?)But, here's what I did to make lighter.....

I put a little lotion on it
Brushed white eye shadow over the top
Concealed it with a concealing stick

I hope this helps a little!
