Well I have my hood pierced....the piercing itself didn't hurt...well none of it really hurt..My b/f just got his penis pierced abotu 3 weeks ago...the healing time is up and over..and the guy that did it said it would hurt the same as my hood did and shouldn't effect our sex life at all. Well since that day my b/f bitches that it hurts..we can never have sex cuz it hurts but he can get all the head he wants cuz we all know that doesnt hurt?! If it really is hurting him and he's not lieing...which at times i think he is cuz we've only done in 2x since it's been pierced and it's always when he wants too...never when i want too...are there any positions maybe taht would make it less painful for him. The piercing is a barbell under neath his head on the shaft of the penis on hte bottom side. I dont' understand y it hurts him so much..and we'd like to have sex but not painful sex...if anyone can think of any positions are things to try it would be greatly apprecaited!!! :D

If it has been three weeks and it seriously still hurts, he should go and see a doctor. It's really easy for genital piercings to get infected, and from there to get really nasty.

You've gotta be a nutter to get pierced in places like THAT! Man, ouchy!
Do they not have to do that under general anaesthetic or something?

Actually genital piercings are one of the lest likely to get infected. If he isnt faking it, it just may be the ache of having a piece of metal in your body that your body isnt use to yet. Some people heal slower than others do. He may "want" to have sex when it feels ok for that day. Some days piercings feel differnt than other days. This piercing is "safe" to have sex with after about 2 weeks, however isnt completely healed until 2 - 6 months. If it is in fact an "ache," I dont think that any particular position will aid it. I can only reccomend going slow, using lube, and using condoms because sometimes bodily fluids can irritate it (besides his own urine which can actually help it).

Um, my friend is a peircer, and I he got his done, well actually was able to do it himself. He said you have to wait over a month before any sex.
If its only been 3 wks, maybe you've jumped the gun, (no pun intended lol) and messed things up before it could fully heal?

Umm... I'm not sure where you're getting your sources from, but genital piercings are very likely to become infected, even when cleaned properly and looked after. Under clothing, away from fresh air, not allowing the pores around to properly breath; with sweat and other fluids, and lots of heat - bacteria grows easily in these places.

I think Shocka has a point. With all the moisture and confinement, one would think that genital piercings would take longer to heal and would be more prone to infection. That's one place where I really would not like any infections

you are right. But it is a precaution that you arent really supposed to wear underwear during the healing process. Perhaps I was thinking of female genetalia, because there are bacteria that fights infection on a normal basis, let alone a piercing. With the peircing that I beleive wild lover is talking about would be close enough to the urinary track to be cleaned out by urine which is very beneficial. Or perhaps I completely misuderstood in my broad research on the whole category or piercings. In my understanding, it was similar to a tongue piercing. They are both swimming in bacteria, but there is also bacteria there to fight it off. I will however give you the benefit of the doubt, but Ill continue to look around for some very very CLEAR answer.

:o Wow.....
Okay well, the only advice I can think of (as everyone already said) is go see a doctor. Have you asked him to see a doctor?

Shaking hands isn't exactly "nice" when you think about it either... all the bacteria and all the dirt crawling over your hands... did you use that hand to cover your mouth when you just coughed? Germs, germs, germs... and putting your hands to your face, even though you've touched all kinds of people and surfaces... outdoors, indoors... it's amazing we don't catch all kinds of diseases just living. Oral sex is nothing compared to the hazards and disgust of being a human lifeform.

I would just be scared. I would be scared to have it inside me, and I would be scared that it was infected. Even if it didn't look it yet.
