Boys weird phrases

hey,
This might sound dodgy but what does it mean when a guy says a girl is a really nice person?
I had the courage to tell this boy i liked him as i'd seen him staring etc, but he started actin all arrogant and he was confronted by a friend and said that thats how he his and he cant change but he will try and speak to me to sort things out.
Im wonderin whether he likes me but doesnt wanna say anythin to my friends or he doesnt at all and is just stringing me along!

It wasn't written in the best English, but...if you can't understand that, I sincerely wonder what kind of geniuses you must surround yourself with daily.

Supersam...frankly, nobody here knows for sure what this kid is thinking. We could guess and say that as a child, he was beaten by his father everytime he felt inferior to someone, and due to his severe psychological abuse, he acts as if he's superior to everyone....well hopefully you understand that we don't know this kid, nor do we know how he reacts to certain things. All we can do is base our answers upon slightly similar experiences that probably turned out completely different than yours will.

If I had to guess, I'd say he doesn't like you, but my reasoning behind that holds about as much water as a colander. If you're that interested, ask him, or have a friend of yours find out for you, we simply don't know.

Sorry about that message i kinda start chatting a lot of shit when im hyper!

I know everyone will see these messages all the time but this boys got me really confused.
I see this boy at my sports centre and he will ask me questions like 'what do i like doing and how old am i? And because he sees my friends at college more than he sees me he is always on the lookout to see if i come in.

When I am in college he will stare at me from across the room and do the stupid 'yawning and staring' thing but since my friends told him i like him hes been acting arrogant and even said 'I know you like me just admit it'.
and yeah its true that i like him but i thought that he would be more considerate and not be soo f***ing big headed!!

Depends if there's a but at the end.

"You're a really nice person but..." then it just means he's using it to break the bad news to you lightly.

"but" is usually used by people to separate fiction from reality. Whenever anyone says "but" it means "okay, now disregard everything I just said...I'm going to tell you what I really think

*sighs* Ahh I remember I did this to a guy once. Some girl walked up to me once and asked if I liked this one guy. The truth was that i did in fact like him, but i was suspicious of her so I said "I think he's nice" and shrugged. She walked off...... turns out she was gonna ask me out for him but I didnt know that. A while later, he ended up dating her.... 4 yrs later they are still together. :dance:

So here's what I think... you two should def. talk about it. Get to him and stright up talk to him and ask. Him being an ass to u sudenly may not be so cool though.... well, from my experiences if a guy become a jerk after you hint at liking him it usually means he's not interested. But who knows.... u need to talk to him.
