Hello, im new to the boards and im sure their have been numerous topics similar to this one, but before any flaming goes on, just know that im aware of this but feel that every story is different. Alright so now about my story and my questions. There is this girl in one of my college courses that im taking this semester that I had thought to be rather attractive from the first day we had class weeks ago, and still do find very attractive. A week or two back I started to get the feeling that somone was watching me. Sure enough (or from what i can see) I was being watched, being watched by that very girl that I found to be attractive. Im the kind of person that needs alot of proof before ill believe somthing, so I didnt let it take control of me. I did however keep my eye on her and her recently discovered habit of taking peeks at me all during class. Now from what i was seeing this was happening every time our class would meet. To make sure that she was most likley looking at me, rather then some other good looking fellow near by, i took note of the people who would sit next to me for a few classes. those people would cycle out every day we met, so in other words it was never the same person everyday. Also i sit near the back of the class and she happens to sit one seat down from me in the neigboring row so in order for her to be looking my way should we have to turn her head around, and outside of me there isnt anything there to lok at. Not a clock, not a teacher, nothing but me, and the random guy or girl that happens to sit next to me that day. So with that said, ive been pretty confident that she is indeed checking me out. Knowing this ive started to troll differnt forums looking for more signs of possiable interest. I had come across numerous threads about body language, from playing with their hair, to copying nearly all of your moves. From what i can see she displays alot of these examples that were listed in the threads. However im not sure if i just think Im seeing these behaviors simply because im looking for them, wanting her to act this way so i can say, yep she's interetsed in me. I have looked around the room at all the other girls and how they happen to be acting, and every last one of them is simply sitting there taking lecture notes. So yea a big part of me is now saying, dude she is interested in you now get off your ass and talk to her! The bitch of it all however is I doubt myself and differnt things simply because I dont want to be over confident about somthing and get let down. Also having never talked to her before in my life is also a problem I have becauce I have a fear of looking goofy or somthing. I have no clue how to break the ice, no clue what to say to her to get things going, I KNOW once i get passed the first introductions I can handle it from there on. Hell today I was sure I was finally going to say somthing to her to get things started, so I made sure today I was sitting in a seat right next to her, making it easier to start a conversation up with her. All i did was move up one desk and thought really nothing of it, until she made her way to class and was about to sit down next to me in her normal spot and then all of a sudden moved up a desk and sat there. Right then i felt like an idiot because to me at the time I figured she moved up because she didnt want to be next to me or somthing. But to my suprise she was still taking quick glances at me every chance she had and still showing hints via her body language that she is interested. So yea im super confused and i could go on forever and a day about it all and give u countless examples as to why i feel she is indeed interested in me, but that would be of no use because ive already talked forever and if I have no game plan as to how Im going to get things started with her thats all worthless. I only have 5 weeks left of class (10 opertunities) to atleast try and get somthing going, even if its as basic as getting a phone number or sn. I dont want this one to end up like alot of the other ones i let pass me by, whom ill porlly never see again. Any advise or kick in the ass you can supply me with would be great.
