k, there's this girl from my work that i'm interested in
one of my co-workers introduced me to her and on the same day i got her #
so i called her the next day and as we were talking, she mentions that she has a bf

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

i even asked her why she gave me her # in the 1st place and she says she'll give me an answer later ...

erhm, maybe because she thought you were nice and an interesting guy?? just because i have a boyfriend doesn't stop me from giving guys my number (unless i know they're hitting on me). i love making new friends.

i would assume she just saw potential in a new friend.

Oh i have done this before. Maybe she's just to nice to say no and just gave you here number for the hell of it. I'd say move on. You can't change her status with her b/f.
