best advice i got from a classmate

i remember one time in class a classmate was talking to his fellow class mate and i happen to listen by too, his advice was
" talk to the girl hey, if she's interested good go for , if she doesn't seem interested move on to the next one but never try so hard- b/c they don't like desperate.
i think that was one of the best advie i ever had and with other advice from u guys. i just want to share it with the other guys in this forum, who are having a hard time with the ladies.
oh ya any one u guys also have other suggestions or advice
