question: is first penetration hurtful?
even if it's just fingers.

As for fingers.. not really. It's a little uncomfortable at first, but other than that, no pain for me.
I wouldn't know about penetration though :-?

mmm, can b.
really depends on the grrl...
things that can make it painful for her ...
~if shes not ready
~if shes nervous
~if she doesnt wear tampons
~if she doesnt do stuff like that to herself.. etc.
also, if ya just rush in aand put like 2 fingers up her it'll prolly hurt. even if she DOES finger herself, grrls fingers are heaps smaller than guys, so yeah.
someone saying being fingered for the first time and it hurting issnt THAT surprising tho. :)
...and sex first time penetration hurting? HELL YEAH. hehe

fingers? hmm... it was never an issue for me really.. I think the guy knew I wasn't too experianced. But for some, I'm sure it can be painful. To be safe, start with one finger if u are really worried about it. (Yes I know it sounds like "one? whats that gonna do??") and then move up. if its causing her any discomfort, stop. Make sure she's turned on enough, too. It wont hurt as much if shes wet.

It all depends on whether the hyman is in tact or stretched at all. If not, it can either feel like a lot of pressure, or it can hurt.
My first time hurt because it was unexpected. The guy had no courtasy for me at all, and while we were standing on my back porch making out, he QUICKLY reached down there and shoved one finger up there. It hurt. And I pushed him away from me as hard as I could. No respect at all.
My second time was like a year later and he was careful and gentle, so all I felt was a little pressure. So, just be careful and gentle. Even if it hurts the girl a little bit, Im sure that if you are gentle, she wont mind all too much, because the slower you go, the less it hurts. Just ask her if shes OK after you start, just to make sure that shes hangin in there... (plus its really sweet to ask. :) )

Penetration for the first time didnt hurt for me during the act..but afterwards it did ( for sex)
Fingers..dont hurt me ever, unless the guy is really rough and doesnt know what hes doing .. so slowly is best..just ask her if it hurts, and if it does, stop or go slower.

for me fingering didnt hurt.. just felt uncomfortable... but about the 3rd time it got really really enjoyable.
and before that i didnt wear tampons (they always felt weird when i had one in) or fingered myself, (but did lots of clit-stuff!!!) but yeah it wasnt really 'pain'.
as for sex.. it kind of hurt, but i wasnt wet enuf the first time i rekn.
and it kind of wouldnt go in anyway. :/ only about half way.. but then other times we kept trying with lube, and lube worked wonders. but now we cn do it without lube too, its great.

Like it's been stated...it can hurt. *after8* already told you not to immediately start with 2 fingers, because that could hurt if she'd never been fingered before.

For me it's never hurt. It's felt 'weird' the times I've bled (which is recently, after months of being fingered...when we've changed angles drastically, or stood up) but it has never particularly hurt.
I think the trick is to take it slow... one step at a time... and be very wet. :P

I can't say for ALL girls whether it's painful or not but for me I never bled the first times I got fingered, nor did I suffer much if any pain at all. Yeah, I'm sure it was "weird" as stated above sometimes but nice weird if it makes any sense. That's fingering though. First time penus penetration for me did hurt, and still did hurt the first couple of times we had sex/made love and spotted a little bloodwise, otherwise, fingering did not hurt.

After many years of rampant sex, I can still be hurt if a guy is rough. Gettign carried away and really turned on during sex and going crazy can hurt a little bit if the girl in't as much into it as the guy.
Fingering - just be gentle guys! Please!!
My first few times didn't hurt, but sometimes it does now, when he decides that MORE is BETTER and gets a bit too carried away. I just ask him to slow down though - yet another reason why good communication is very important in a sexual relationship!

Definitely! Short nails is a must!
I dunno, but for me, pain is always there whenever I get fingered... I dunno, it's just that maybe you're so used to fooling around alone that it doesn't hurt when you do it to yourself, but it hurts when my boyfriend does it. Maybe because of the angles and whatever and HeLL, fingering from the back damn hurts if you're not careful, you have to really get really comfortable first. But then, you know.....
PaIn Is PleASurE isn't it......?

Fingering: It didn't hurt as much as I thought when I got fingered for the first time. Mind you, he was eating me out at the same time, so I guess we had enough lubrication down there which reduced the pain...
Penetration: It hurt so bad even though we started off slowly!
