An appropriate time

ok so im doing laundry in my building and this girl's there too. So we talk for like 15mins or so. Shes on the 3rd floor and im on the first. She's from down south so we start talking and she tells me how she hopes by the time winter comes, she knows enough people here to carpool with bc she's never driven in the snow. I ask her when her classes are and we have class at the same time on wed's so i tell her we can carpool. So she finishes folding her clothes and starts leaving so while we're saying bye i tell her we can carpool tomorrw(wednesday) but she says she has to be there early for a meeting, so we cant. So we finish our convo with the usual nice to meet you's and stuff and i tell her i'l knock on her door sometime so we can hang out. SO here comes my question:

Is tomorrow(wednsday) too soon? when's an appropriate time? She is a very nice and sweet girl, so id def like a friendship with her. I just dont want her to think im too forward or get the wrong idea that im macking on her and looking for a date/hook up by asking her to hang out the very nexy day we meet.
