There is this girl whom I almost started dating in early June. We both has a connection, but circumstances weren't right as she was going away all summer. Now I want to send her an email to try get back to where we were a few months ago.
Problem is that we never got past the stage where anything happened between us other than establishing a connection. Enough happened for me to want get in touch with her again, but not enough for there to be a convenient place to pick back up. So I've tried to write some emails, but they either say too much about what was going on between us, or they don't say enough. Basically I just want to take her out sometime to see where we're at, but don't the best way to get that across without sounding too manufactured.
Any advice about what to say and how to say it?
