Wow.

I honestly DONT know if this is real or not. I want to say yes it is, but who knows. Its hilarious if anything.

http://thebestpageintheuniverse.net/mam/

Basically the petition has a little over a thousand signatures in a few hours, it had 70 before maddox posted about it.

Look at the URL. It's his creation.

Nice one.

Straydog, on the page he put up, it clearly says "click here for a MIRROR", it's not his, he's just hosting a mirror, for some reason.

He's hosting the mirror because the original site is on a Geocities account and if anybody tried clicking on it from Maddox's page, with the number of visitors Maddox gets, they'd exceed their Geoshitties bandwidth within seconds.

Here's the original page, for reference:

"Update: 9/10/04

The petition to shut down my site had about 80 signatures before this article was posted. With only three hours into this new post, there are about 1200 new signatures on the site. 24 hours later, there are 9,200 signatures, making it the most popular petition on Petition Online."

Guffaw.

9200 signatures...

And what exactly will these signatures do? Nothing!

Maddox fucking rules. This is just fucking funny.

And so totally like Maddox to mirror the site for them.

Just goes to show that he's got cojones, and a nice sense of humour.

I may be a ninja fan, but he's one pirate I admire.

Petition is up to 13300 signatures, still the most active petition on the site (they count signatures each day to determine this)

the petition had 18000+ (can't recall the exact number) when I checked it out. I got to wondering how many of the signatures are actually real (guessing that some people clicked on the link in Maddox's site and had to write an insignificant comment). Yeah, I bet he's getting a kick out of the entire petition ordeal.

How does everyone know who Maddox is? lol. I've never heard of this guy untill this thread. Is that site a blog or something?

I think I learned of Maddox's site because of a prior thread somebody wrote about him in here. I'll visit the site here and there to see some of the updates, but I dont check it out on a regular basis.

He basically just rants about stuff. Hes a smart guy and just knows how to press peoples buttons. You can either be mature about it and see it for what it is worth, complete over the top hilarious stuff, (with usually a helluva good point behind it) or get all super offended and go hop in your minivan and cause a big stir at the next soccer team picnic. Get over it.

These people just make me fucking sick. Hey guess what ya old bag? I can can dress myself, I can drive, I can decide what webpages I want to view. People who make petitions like this belong in a communist country somewhere that I dont want to vacation, then they can have whatever they want blocked.
