Al Franken's "Lies, and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them"
FUCKING BRILLIANT. This guy just rips a new hole in conservative media etc. And he does it in a hilarious fashion. I started reading it at work and kept scaring my coworkers when I would burst into laughter during my break. Hell, I even snuck at a bit of reading it during my shift! (shhhh!) He's a former Saturday Night Live writer, comedian, writer, radio host, etc.
a MUST read. Check it out here: http://www.al-franken.com/
check out the link for this book, and read the comments made about it. "SHUP UP!"

I saw we need to get him on the Daily Show. He and Stewart are so damn similar it'd be funny to see who would get the better of who....

I love how AL Franken pisses off Bill O'Reilly so much, Bill O'Reilly snapped and even tried to attack him once! Then Fox tried to sue Franken over the title of his book because fox said they copyrighted the phrase "fair and balanced". The result of the lawsuit, the judge literally laughed it out of court and called it ridiculous! hahaha
I love how O'Reilly can't stand up to a good debator, someone who has beaten him in discussion, so he flips out, calls them a traitor, or lunatic, then cuts there mic. Boo hoo, couldn't cut Franken off in real life because he wasn't controlling the camera's! Suck it O'Reilly, you've met your match.

And that bit about the Splotchy-faced guy. They meet at a convention thing, and Splotchy guy comes up to Franken (there's a giant cut-out of splotchy guy, because he's on the cover of Franken's book...) and says "THIS IS WHAT I LOOK LIKE! I DO NOT LOOK LIKE THAT!" (paraphrasing) wow... and that was of course the most important thing you could have said... or you could have, perhaps, tried to justify the fuck-ups that Franken calls you on... but I suppose that's not possible

I'm glad to see that it's got potential. I'm currently reading Bush World, and have just finished Against All Enemies, and Dude Where's my Country.
I was planning on adding that one to the list next after Bush World. I do find it funny that when I supply the facts and statements to my republican friends that they never respond to them. They always do the same thing. Just to tell me that democrats are Evil, gays and abortion are wrong and basically "My Minds Made Up, Don't Confuse Me With Facts"
It also find it funny, that not a single article, book, or news program has provided any kind of relief against Bush. I mean I still hate the guy, but I keep hoping that there might be one good thing that comes from his administration, one good act is all I ask. But no matter what I find, everything he's passed, everything he's done has either been some of the most anti-American things I've ever seen, or some of the most archaic things ever done (stem cells being an example).
But despite all my hatred of his administration Bush I actually do not hate as a person. I mean he just doesn't seem to have the intelligence to have done all this on his own. I really honestly think that he's just a puppet, that John AScroft, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Wolfilwitz parade infront of the people to hide the truth of the matter.

how was Bushworld? I love the cover of that book. and then there's the "Bushhater's Handbook".
Actually, I saw an entire BOOK out today, about Kerry and how he lied about his +War +service and purple hearts and all... Basically, the book of what all those veterans are saying.

Well when I finish Bush World which might be in a couple weeks. Do keep in mind I start school Monday, so more than likely I'll be putting BushWorld on the shelf for a few days while I get all geared up for physics and what not =P
but I'll give a review once I finish it =P
