The new survivor is starting up. I honestly cant wait. The all-stars one was great, but too predictable and I cant wait for this one. It looks like 3 tribes too.

Ok, say what you want about reality TV, survivor was the first one in this new craze and is still the best. Its more of a hardcore gameshow if you ask me. I love it.

Anyone else looking forward to this?

Another note im looking forward to the 11th installment because it is going to be Survivor: Canada or something along those lines and is aparently going to be up in Northern BC or nothern Ontario during the summer. I cant wait! haha

meh. dumbest show ever. especially since it was the first major reality show that spawned a whole BUNCH of dumb reality shows... INCLUDING The Simple Life. *shudder*

The first one was a good idea, now...it's just ridiculous. I could careless about people willingly stranding themselves on an island/wilderness and all the drama that arises from it.

I love Survivor, but since like the first two..its gotten harder and harder to keep things interesting. But compared to all of these other shitty reality tv shows like..Big Brother, that Fat Obnoxious Fiance dude, the makeover shows, the home improvement shoes & a ton of other unoriginal shows...Survivor still remains the granddaddy IMO.

Reality TV ruined TLC (the LEARNING channel) by turning it into the stupid reality tv and wedding show channel...

To make survivor interesting again, instead of placing the people on some tropical island, they should put them somewhere where survival (the theme of the show) actually isn't as easy as tolerating mosquito bites... Like in the middle of a desert... or perhaps Antarctica. Then, they could have a "RFScott" tribe and an "Amundsen" tribe or something...

They are thinking about doing one in the desert, Mid-East was suppose to be a location they were concidering early on, but not anymore.

They will start getting more and more 'different' locations, to try and spice things up. I dont know when its different people and different twists its just great! :)

I'd say they should do one in northern Canada in the winter. but of course, there'd be little oppotunity to show everyone off in their bathing suits, so it won't happen.

The thing also is, with that, again the chance of permanent injury is greatly increased with winter. Having people sleep in their homemade shelter with a -40 degree windchill just wont work. Plus lets be honest, they wouldnt leave their shelter, and it makes food a lot harder to find as well.

When they do the summer, the worst they have to worry about are bug bites and sunburn.
