Here goes,
I know this girl that i talk with a lot on MSN, and basically she sent me an email saying she likes me, but i dont feel the same way. I'd like to let her down easy so that we can still be friends tho. She's really nice and i don't want to hurt her. I guess i'll be hurting her anyway, but I want to minimize that. What should i say?

did she outright come and say she liked you? I figure if she didnt actually say it.. and she isn't like asking you out or something... i wouldn't do much of anything...there is no easy way to let someone down..it always hurts..

Yup, she outright said she liked me for a long time. I basically said i liked her as a friend and hoped we could still be friends.

Just be like.. "You're very cute.. Very nice.. but I'm involved with someone else.. Otherwise.. I would!"

Or you can tell her you're a UNICH, and your love was never meant to be.

OR you can say you're gay.

I seem to be a little late here, but I dunno if I would tell somebody that I'm involved with somebody else and would date them otherwise. It might give them a bit of false hope. It might be a better idea in the long run to just be honest up front.
