My bf just became a licensed contractor and wants to start his own business. He needs a logo for this business. Just thought Id post here since many of you are good at this sort of thing. It is going to be called McLarents Fine Woodworking. He wants it kind of old fashioned looking, but something that catches the eye and wont be looked past. Help anyone?

Ok, so I just thought of a sign I made for my senior oktoberfest a few years ago. We made it disney themed and one of the food booths was western so we called it "woody's place" (woody from toy story) I drew the letters for woody's name like they were pieces of wood nailed together. It looked pretty cool.
<shrug> Woodworking... you know you could make the letters look like... wood

A LOGO logo, or a logo that basically involves making text look pretty?

I believe it's the earlier posts that are in question here... Kimmie offered a suggestion, and then LynzyLou made a post that could have sounded as if she was ignoring the suggestion ("No one????").

Sorry, didnt mean to be rude. hehe I appreciated your idea, I just have no idea how to use it to make a logo myself. When I said, "No one??" I just meant no visual ideas.
