View Full Version : Which movie can make you laugh?

Which movie, no matter how many times you see it, can ALWAYS make you laugh at some pint or another. No matter how many times you hear the same joke or see the same spoof?

The Princess Bride is one for me. During the cliff scene when Westley and Inigo are having their conversation...

or Shrek 2... though I haven't seen this one nearly as much. Almost anything that Puss says or does makes me laugh. like when he's stealing the potion bottle and uses his claw to cut the glass, then licks his paw to take the circle off. Or when he soon after slides under the door, grabs his hat and slicks it on his head. it's just hilarious. Or when he does the big eyes... or during the final music scene, he sits in the chair and pulls the cord that drops water on his head... just like from Flashdance. or... "It says, side effects may include nausea etc. and not for people with nervous disorders" they all look up to see Donkey "I'm trotting! I'm trotting! I'm trotting in place!"

The Usual Suspects...Fenster (Benicio Del Toro) and McManus (Stephen Baldwin), their mannerisms and random things they say in the movie amuse me....

Not really a movie, but Robin Williams on Broadway always makes me laugh. First time I watched it, I had to stop it because I couldn't breathe.

oh, and it has to be the SAME thing, every time. Like it can't be, "Whose Line is it Anyway" which has me laughng so hard I can't breathe every time... but it's a different episode.

The only one I can think of right now is totally stupid -

Wayne's World, in the part where Wayne is interviewing that guy who owns all the arcades and he has crap written all over the back of the notecards.

"This man blows goats -- I have proof"

Oh yeah, and the whole gunrack thing.

Oh man thats some great stuff. :fruit:

I saw that episode, too...SO laugh your ass off funny!

As for movies...I'd say any Adam Sandler movie. And I'll admit, I like Pauly Shore movies...I liked BioDome and In the Army Now when I was in probably middle school. I'm not sure if i'd still like those movies, but at that time I laughed at everything.

yeah, beavis and butthead do america

(at the hoover dam) "uhm...yeah uhm...i just got a question. is this a goddamn ?"

then one of the last scenes in dr. strangelove...i havent actually seen this movie more than once, but the part where strangelove starts doing all the nazi-movements subconsciously, i can imagine i'd laugh every time i'd see that..

then of course there's my favorite movie : the big lebowski...there's quite a lot of scenes

but i have to admit that i hardly ever laugh out loud when i'm watching a movie...it takes standup comedy to really get me laughing, and even then...

the other day tho, i watched a bill hicks show, dont remember what it was called, anyway, he did a bit about getting stopped by a cop while being on acid...man, i laughed so hard...if anyone knows that bit they'll probably know what i'm talking about

Omg, Chevy Chase was so hilarious in Xmas Vacation. Like when he traps himself up in the attic and keeps hitting himself in the face with the loose boards. Or the white trash relatives that parked their trailer outside the house and emptied their toilet into the sewer. LOL That's got to be the funniest xmas movie ever(with A Christmas Story in a close 2nd)

But yeah..the European vacation one really sucked..the only funny part I remember is when they got stuck in the roundabout.."Look kids, there's Big Ben!"...haha

And Milton in Office Space..."If they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire."

oh... I just watched Bridget Jones' Diary aagin yesterday. Definitely on my list.

when Grant shows up at her apartment and she's having that birthday dinner and Darcy is there.... and then the fight in the street. I swearing, I'm laughing my ass off the entire time. They fight like girls. well, like girls who don't know how to fight. And it's so funny in the rain with their shoulder-padded suits on, and then the run into the Greek restaurant and keep fighting... and then everyone's singing "Happy birthday to... what's his name.." and then through to window... Man.. I'm laughing just PICTURING it.
