I was thinking I would love to get some new music, and Im sure im not the only one, so I figured I would bring this back!
For me?
Ive been listning to a lot of Dashboard, but different Dashboard, a lot of songs that once I heard live I loved and now I cant get enought of. Also their single on the spiderman soundtrack 'Vindicated' Is an amazing song. And its a really different feel for them, and they pull it off well.
Coldplay, Pilate, Five for Fighting U2 have been in there too.
D12s new albulm I honestly cant get enough of. Haha some of the stuff on there is just so bad you have to laugh. :P Its good when your in the mood for it.

Listen up, and listen good.
The band? Muse.
The song? Time Is Running Out.
The most rockin' song I've heard in a LONG time. Think early Radiohead, but with a sexy bassline and way more intensity.
Get it. Now.

Same here. I bought that Cd back in early May and I'm still listening to it. I like almost every single song, just incredible. Muse rocks!
Other most played CD is New Found Glory - Catalyst, I've loved this band since I first heard of them back in 99 with their Nothing Gold can Stay LP.

And Muse's Time is Running out? it's odd, because my fave song at the moment is also called "Time is Running Out" and has a great baseline an shit... but it's by Apollo Four Forty. perhaps they're the same song. Mine was on the S.W.A.T. soundtrack. *checks* nope... different song. BUt try mine too, I'm trying yours!

Melissa Auf Der Maur is already kind of a star, she's been in both the Smashing Pumpkins and Hole before going solo.
Lone_Raider
June 12th, 2004, 03:03 AM
I know she has been in the Pumpkins and Hole, but in the USA she's barely been on the radar with her own band. Even the best alternative rock station in my state 95.5 WBRU from Brown University, that always plays new or lesser known artists hasn't played one of her songs yet. I heard it on my music match Juke Box radio station yesterday. And there was only a single brief mention of her appearance on the radio!
But I saw she'll be on Conan on the 18th, so that will get her some major US airtime.

"The Mourning After (Carry On)" by Kamelot.
I just had a dream. She was by the riverside, alone and dressed in white, paling in the cold, walking on the icy face of memories of glory days. Carry on, carry on. Meet me on the other side once the mourning after turns to day. Carry on, carry on. Keep on to the other side. The mourning after slowly fades. How could I have known? Just the thought is simply wild. In her womb...a little child. I am left to roam on the surface of a dream in a world that can't be seen.

i never saw the appeal of radiohead myself... they are good, great lyrics and songs, but they werent necessarily as great as everyone said... and their fans piss me off as well... its as if the band has discovered some secret wave frequency that when u listen to the albums more than 3 times ur brain moulds into a radiohead manufactured brain and all you talk about is radiohead and all u worship is radiohead.
