How to give a hickey?

Yeah so i need to learn how to give a hickey to a girl. I have never recieved or given one. Do you just suck? or is there a special technique?

The easiest way is indeed to just plain suck. You use the insides (for best gripping) of your lips and just suck.

It's not very nice, though. It's an ugly bruise and it will need covering up, and popping blood vessels volountarily just sounds immensely unnecessary...

Simply get an area of skin moist and suck on it like there's no tomorrow. Be sure to be carfeul about not hurting the reciever though - I personally don't think hickys feel all that great in the frist place. you can always practice on your own arm or something, and then you too can enjoy the fun of explaining to everyone why you have a weird purple mark on your forearm (which is a bit easier to excuse than one right on your neck).

Sorry if my reply seems useless to you..but I just don't get what's so special about hickeys. They don't feel that great to me. They leave an ugly mark(which isn't that easy to cover up with makeup,btw) I'd much rather have kisses all over my neck(with licking)...a little nibbling won't hurt..but the tongue can do wonders I believe. Sometimes a more delicate approach can mean a more electrifying sensation in the end, ya know. :cool2:

everyone is saying that hickies dont feel that great. But what if your SO gets really turned on by you sucking/kissing/nibbling on their neck? Then it might just happen.

I do wonder though if anyone sets out just to give a hickey... hrm.

But if that was the situation here the question would be "how do I turn on my significant other by sucking/kissing/nibbling on their neck?", not "how do I give a hickey?".

I'm with the girls on this one. I dont' see the point in giving you girl a random hickey. I mean if that's what she really wants than knock yourself. But if it's just something you feel you have to do, than don't. It's stupid, and in my opinion kind of demeaning. I actually know a few guys that like to give their girls hickeys to show that they are dating someone. I kind of feel that in that kind of situation, it's little more than reducing yourself to that of a dog, who feels he has to mark his territory some how. So if it's something like you're trying to say that this is your girl. Than don't do it. It's only demeaning, and honestly kind of pathtetic. But if it's something she just enjoys to be done to her, than the others have supplied you with more than enough info to complete your goal.

heh, Went out with this one chick once, both of us got a little tipsy, and well, one thing lead to another. The next morning she woke up with a bunch of hickies on her neck. I don't remember giving her a hicky, but I do remember kissing her all over her body.

both of us weren't in the best of shape the next morning :P

But then you can always have hickeys on places others don't see right? They don't necessarily have to be on the neck! ;)

Personally, I like hickeys. Of course, the pain is just a tiny bit to bear with, but i just love the sight of a few love bites here and there to remind me of my, ahem shenanigans i had the past few days (since they last around 4 days or so). Also, I think they're a sign of dominance, you know.... leaving a trademark before you leave.... :twisted:

I myself have never received one but it takes A LOT for me to bruise anyway, so i think that's why. I think hickeys are dumb and I wouldn't want one on my neck. I tried giving one to my boyfriend before because I had never done it. There wasn't really any point in it though. Just suck the hell out of the skin.

But... be nice. Don't give a huge one on the neck, or something.
