Okie-dokee.
So you've found your way into the 'artsy-fartsy' forum. Good for you!
You can use this forum to post your artwork (be it digital or traditional). This includes desktops, media player skins, sculptures, tag/ava sets, paintings, photography, etc. Variety is wonderful! AA is also here for any discussion topics questions you may have (technique, career stuff, artist's block, etc).
If you ask what we think of your work, be prepared to have some constructive criticism thrown your way. But if you can't take it, don't give it. Meaning that if you don't like what someone said about your work, don't get into a huff and then turn around and shut down someone ELSE'S work. That's not what we're about, around here. Should you have a serious issue with another member's comments, please PM them, rather than flaming each other in the thread. And if it gets out of hand, feel free to send me a PM.
As kuju said in an earlier post, plagarism will NOT be tolerated.
I'd like to remind the members who post artwork in Artistic Appeal that plagarism exists in art, as well as in poetry and writing. Posting someone else's material is an act of plagarism. While we don't punish severely, a repeat offense of plagarism on these boards WILL result in a ban from that forum, and possible a ban from the Relationship Forums. Even if you are doing a further manipulation on the work, it still needs to be referenced by a link, or just a mention of where you got it, or made obvious that it exists somewhere else under someone else's name, unless you've manipulated it to the point where it is no longer recognizable as the original work.

Also, the old 'Tag/Ava Request Thread' has been retired from General Discussion. If you now wish to request a new set, please do so by posting a thread here in AA, or by PM-ing a specific member with the request.
Oh! And just as a sidenote, I'm going to try and get more tutorials up, and probably some kind of resource thread for fonts/free-hosting/etc. So look for that sometime in (hopefully) near future.

That's all for now. :) If anything else comes up, I'll make be sure to update this thread.
Ta!
