I kiss with my eyes open almost all the time. Most people seem to kiss with their eyes closed, but I feel like if I do that I'm missing out on a big part of the experience. Some people find it creepy. I don't. Sure, it's intimate, but if I'm going to be making out with someone, I probably have intimate feelings for them, so where's the problem?

Anyway, where do you stand?

Definitely closed. I sneak a peek sometimes, just to see if they look they're enjoying it, but I don't stare. My ex-boyfriend went through a phase where he wanted to keep his eyes opened all the time, and it freaked me out a little. I can't imagine looking somebody in the eyes the entire time we're making out. :icon_confused: Closing your eyes makes it so much easier to get lost in the moment and forget about everything else around you. :kiss:

I like kissing with my eyes closed because I like the feeling of not knowing what's going on around you. It's about getting lost in a kiss and feeling it to the fullest. That's what I get from kissing with my eyes closed but I haven't gotten to experience those things with them open so for me it takes 3/4ths of the feeling away to kiss with your eyes open.

when you have your eyes open, dont your eyes go off looking somewhere else? so in essense that only means youre not totally into that kiss.
and yeah, i kiss with my eyes closed. tho sometimes i open them when i pull away, wondering if i should stop or go back to her... and most times i see her eyes closed waiting for my lips to come back. :P

I usually close my eyes, sometimes I peek at him though. kind of often actually...but I don't stare. though sometimes if we're kissing and watching tv at the same time, I'll watch tv while kissing him. :agree:

Usually with my eyes closed.

If I'm in a playful mood, I'll kiss him with my eyes open and he'll catch my gaze and we'll kind of hold it. It's sweet. :)

But sometimes...it just creates too much closeness between the two people, which can scare the shit out of them. I would never kiss my boyfriend with my eyes open if we've only been dating a few months, just because I'm not THAT comfortable with it.

Keeping your eyes open is extremely intense, in my opinion. You look out and you see someone else staring right back at you, and unless you're prepared for it, it might even scare you. I did it a few times, and I'll tell you what... its intense.

However, I find it to be more relaxing with eyes closed. You seem to get more out of it. But if you're going for emotionalwise, eyes open is totally, well, 'eye opening'. :)

I like kissing with my eyes closed, but I also like it if she's doing the same thing, so I'll rarely open my eyes for a moment. If your eyes are closed, you can concentrate more on the feeling of it. If they're open, I find I'll look more at her kissing, and concentrate less on the feeling of it.

I'm a peeker. lol i like kissing with my eyes open, just to see her face up close, and to keep look out. I don't believe it takes away from the kiss at all. I'm probably 50/50 on this one... My g/f on the other hand rarely ever opens her eyes. Sometimes i'll catch her peeking, but not often...

I am the opposite of most of you people.

I reverse "peek". Most of the time my eyes are open. But every once in a while I'll break to close them.

I don't consider it "staring"...it's more of a gaze. I don't know, I'm that close to the person, I keep my eyes open to fully enjoy the experience, when I have my eyes closed...it seems a little foolish, but I'll do it every once in a while.

I guess it depends on what you're doing. like, if you are doing something more than kissing, I have my eyes open, but generally when I am just kissing a girl I have my eyes closed. sometimes I have them open to see how beautiful they look..... :)

I'm like the WhiteWonder. My eyes are usually open, and so are my bf's. Like others have said, it IS intense, and that's why I love it.

Usually at first I close my eyes, and if the kiss keeps going on for awhile, (if were making out or something) I'd open them just to see what's happening. Also to see if his eyes are closed, or to see how cute he looks when his eyes are closed. It's cool when you're kissing and you both stare at eachother!

And if we are in the movies, sometimes I open them so I can kiss and watch the movie at the same time. But I do feel more into the kiss when my eyes are closed.

Eyes predominantly closed. My eyes can't focus very well that close and it's just freaky to see the person I'm kissing look like a cyclops!

He switches a lot, but closes them mostly now because I didn't like him telling me how I looked funny when he kisses me - that's just mean.

I'm always sneaking a casual peek. It really depends on what kind of kiss it is. But I alternate between both, and the funny thing is when we both catch each other out.

Even more intense, is looking into each other's eyes during sex. THAT is full-on.

For light kissing, mine are usually open...but for a reason. He always closes his (even for just a lil peck) and I think it is soooo adorable that I like watching him hehe :)
