By fire?s light and misty moon,
The forge resounds with singing steel.
A master craftsman plies his trade
Create, destroy, by touch and feel.
By misty moon?s translucent glow
The crimson coals and shimmering heat
A scorching dryness in the air
A lonely hammer?s steady beat
By flickering light of lonely flame
The sound of steel ringing true
Creator, focused with all his might
The energy flowing, around and through.
By sparks thrown far from shattered blade,
The ruby metal glowing hot.
At last, two parts will soon be whole
Commence, rejoice, without a thought.
By murky glow of tarnished light
The hum of magic pulsing strong
The cusp of freedom, now in hand.
Lands are covered in sin and wrong
At last it?s done, two parts are one
And soon stern might shall rule the land
A darkness gathering, night?s thick cloak
The time of death is now at hand.
The shining blade clutched in his hand
The blacksmith turns to face the moon
The silver light brings thoughts to mind
And strains of a forgotten tune
It's a work in progress, but what do you guys think?
