this is the first new year's eve since 2000 I haven't had someone to kiss at midnight! well there is this one guy... hehe I'll let you know if I have any success!

Well on the 1999-2000 New year I was at a party, I ended up getting together with a girl that night.. Our first kiss was the Millenium New Years Kiss. But shortly after it really changed and she ended up being a bitch! Ha!

BUT.. Last year I ended up kissing the love of my life on new years! and I havent let go since..

So Tonight is going to be very special for the both of us..

Hehe. . .my boyfriend and I were the same :evil2: We had our fun but at midnight we were laughing so hard yet still trying to kiss, so we just ended up kissing with our teeth. . .it was fun though. Just gives me that warm and fuzzy feeling.

This new year's midnight kissing tradition would be completely foreign to me if it wasn't for American films and sitcoms. Needless to say, there is no such tradition here. Yesterday was the first time I celebrated New Year's with anyone (albeit having had a boyfriend the past three new years eves), and honestly, it wasn't that special. I don't care much for new years.
I have a 30th of December, 15 minutes to midnight kissing story, though. :mrgreen:

Just a nice little kiss at midnight :) Then we went back to my house and fell asleep together till 1:30am when my mom woke us up and he went home. It was a nice night :)

But whatever. The New Year's kiss is the BEST opportunity to move things forward with someone you like, because if they feel the same way, things progress from there, and if they don't, you can both shrug it off as New Year's Eve merriment and mirth.

I wasn't even within MILES of anyone I had feelings for, but the reverse was obviously not the case.
It sucks to be taken advantage of when you're drunk. :-?

I kissed my ex last year....We aren't together nemore and the memory killed me yesterday nite....Terrible feeling seeing the other couples do it. I kinda cried yesterday....I was somewhat drunk.

hehe well I was at a party with some friends, no alcohol though my friends are dorks. that would have been a good excuse to give this guy I like a kiss... ah well of course there were no kisses, but I did get a few hugs from him later, but he was being really weird... hadn't slept in like 40 hours... argh I hate crushes, they drive me insane!

We were watching movie at around 11:30...and when we watch movies, our attention span is bear minimum, and then we're basically all over each other. But, we waited til 12 for New Years Eve sake. We did...:)

And then we didn't go to bed til 4 in the morning. Oh how time flies when you're having fun. :lol:

This year was the first time I had ever had a New Year's kiss! It was nice, it was a small peck though because our friend whose boyfriend was out of town wasn't there, so it was small.

New Years Eve 2001 I was kissed while watching the Sydney fireworks from Circular Quay Station. New Years Eve 2002 (as in last week) I was kissed by the same guy (even though we broke up just under a month ago) at bowling (back in the UK, unfortunately enough. No hot holiday this year!) It was nice and I don't regret it :)

well I did finally get my kiss from that guy... who is now my bf (yay!)... it wasn't until last night, but it was well worth the wait!! :D
