Retrospect?

Well, I have only kissed 2 girls and one of them was a girl that I cared about a lot more than I realy should have let myself, and was within a relationship that lasted 3 months. The other one was a girl who I with for about 2 weeks, and cared about, but only in a shalow selfish manor. When I think about the first girl, every memory of her, be it a kiss, or even sitting next to her holding her hand while we watched a movie sends chills down my spine. The other girl was with a selfish bitch who was only outdone by my selfishness, and when I think back to the times we kissed I can't help but feel absolutly nothing. Am I always going to be "chasing the ghost" so to speak?

Well...your first kiss will linger a little bit in every kiss. Then again, it's not always in a positive manner.

For example: I will by kissing my current boyfriend, and something in our kiss will remind me of my ex (doesn't matter what it is...it will just spark the memory). Then I think "These kisses feel better." I used to compare my ex's kisses to EVERYONE'S that I encountered. But then, I grew to ignore the memory, and soon it just faded.

You'll get over it within time...the longing feeling I mean. But you'll always have the memory of your first kiss(er).

That makes sense and is very true. There is something very special about a first kiss and it stays with you in some form.

Yeah....they've nailed it.....I mean, it's been four years and two gfs since my first kiss, and I hardly think about it anymore...emphasis on HARDLY......the memories still come back from time to time :wink:
