What music makes you feel like you can basically get past anything in your way, take your wildest dreams, and quadruple them in reality?

I'm finding that powerful instrumentals really do the trick for me. I just recently discovered "Immediate Music" which really hits the spot a lot. They do a lot of powerful symphonic stuff for movie trailers, etc. REALLY awesome stuff that gets me going: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZDP4kkWj4w

Also, the Chrono Symphonic does the job: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXzo-KQ6mqY (this whole thing is available for free in high quality).

Good old Vangelis: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtmlAaybIEs

Can't forget Nobuo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMIv94qVraY

And now the trick: What would it be like if this kind of stuff played in your head all the time without you thinking about it? ;)

Eye of the Tiger... it's still my favorite song when I'm doing a hard workout

I love that instrumental from Requiem for a Dream, that they replayed in The Two Towers trailer. lol.

randomly, right now I've got "According to You" going through my head ALL the time. I was singing it all through vacation. Doesn't make me feel like I can take over the world, but it does make me think of my boyfriend. (the good guy in the song, lol)

A lot of songs by Disturbed, like This Moment and Decadence.

I have many battlefield songs from my army days. Mostly heavy metal instrumental.

Nowadays though, what i view as the challenges I need to surmount n - my trials and tribulations - have moved from a global and communal view into a personal one.

As such, who better to guide me through that than my favourite TV show of personal growth*

Tool and Boston.

There's nothing else which gets my motor running like sweet music from either of these.

Second vote for Disturbed, their album Indestructible got me through my last exam period.. particularly the song "Indestructible".
