Angel Sanctuary

Dancing is the moonlight,
Sway through shadowing trees.
Angels fall into my heart,
Gliding like falling leaves.

War is waged in heaven.
My eyes gateway their souls,
A sanctuary for fallen angels,
A bridge free from guarding trolls.

Jealousy fills my heart,
As pain taunts all I feel.
Stands a girl before me,
All my dreams turn real.

Loving a single angel,
Her blonde hair on my chest,
Her sent shrouding my body,
Beside me as I rest.

Scared of losing,
What I never had.
Those green eyes stare,
And see me growing mad.

She looked upon a guy,
Innocent and meant no harm,
Revenge I looked upon a girl,
And took her by the arm.

Flowing are the waves,
Clashing at their peak.
Devils try and bribe me,
To give them what they seek.

I no longer have my girl,
The angels lost their war.
She cannot forgive my sins,
But I only dream for before.

A very pretty, exquisite poem, I love it...especially the first stanza..I admire your gift for comparing love to nature...a suggestion, i dunno if its just me but the very last line seems to throw the poem off, maybe change it to 'Still I'm dreaming for before'...or leave it the way it is.. its very good poem. 8)

Your right, the last line is wrong and i've been meaning to change it but laziness has gotten in the way :)
