So, many of the people who join assume that this is a thread where people flame one another for silly questions. But seriously, after spending some time here, it's obvious that we try to help everyone in their troubles, no matter how silly they seem. Hell, we even let Joeshmoe run amok without flaming him too often :D

I know it's a bit stupid to write a warm and fuzzy thread about this forum, but there are some REALLY helpful people here. Honestly, I don't know how anyone could flame someone who's genuinely going through pain anyway. But meh, each forum has its quirks.

I guess we just don't know how lucky we have it ;)

I don't know about flaming, but I often want to hit people across the head with a clue bat. :bash:

That's not really productive for anyone, though, because people who need a round with the clue bat generally don't want a clue. I try to be helpful instead (though a lot more firm with some people than with others)... or, more likely, simply ignore them to try to help those who actually want help.

Well, as you can see, while I joke about flaming Joe, I hadn't done it myself. He's sort of like Harper described him in another thread - a character for sure. :D

Google says Palmer was the head of the shinra space program or whatever. He was basically the fat bastard "initial bad guy" (no final fantasy game is complete without an initial bad guy hehe)
