Why do people want to be with the one that treat them bad and not with the one that treats them the way they want to be treated?

Seriously I think that some women don't realize they are with a guy that treats them bad until they meet a good one. Choosing a guy who treats you well comes froms from experience with bad relationships and maturity. I was engaged to a guy for a year and I didn't see just how bad he to me until I had a very close guy friend show me what good was like. We didn't cheat because I don't believe in that but he he showed me How I deserved to be treated and because of that I got out of a potentially abusive marriage before it was too late. It took being with some guys who didn't respect me to get to one that put me on a pedestal. I hope this makes sense the way I explained it.

They are too emotional attached and afraid to loose what they've already invested so many emotions into.

Allright. The truth is( i noticed) . When man or wemen being "good" we as a people feel confident that they wont go no where. Like it or not but its all about chase, pasion, and how far can you go. In reality people aren't satisfy with what they have, its always seems that grass is grener somewhere else.

Simple. Love is Blind.

Love is not blind. However, first impressions can be lasting impressions, and when someone's in love, they look at the person through a filter that translates all the bad stuff into "adorable stuff you just gotta get used to" or whatever. That's why women in love will say things like, "isn't it adorable how he picks his ass after he farts?" or whatever

@OP: Define your terms so we know where you're at. What is "treating them bad" and what is "the way they want to be treated"?
