You all know then as Plan-B, NorLevo etc, more frequently called the morning after pill, or the emergency contraceptive pill.

Now, out of curiosity, I have a few questions. Only for those who've taken the pill (or know the answers for their girlfriend or a friend). I'm asking because I'm curious, and I see a lot of people being recommended the map "just in case", even when not having had intercourse.

How many times have you taken the 'map'?

Why did you take it?

What side effects, if any, did you experience?

How easy is it to get the 'map' where you live (and where do you live)?

Thank you, all!

To answer my own query;

How many times have you taken the 'map'?
I just took the first pill a second time, so 1½.

Why did you take it?
First, a condom 'burst'. Second, the whole head of the condom came off (found that out when going to the bathroom an hour ago!)

What side effects, if any, did you experience?
I experienced tiredness and tension (in my head). For a couple of minutes I felt a bit surpressed nausea, although I think that might be because I expected to feel nauseous. I also get another period (even if I just had one) a week and a half later, but I read that's supposed to happen.

How easy is it to get the 'map' where you live (and where do you live)?
It's very easy. It's sold at the pharmacy for $12 (USD) per 2 pill package, without a perscription or asking for it... it's with the condoms and lubricant.
People under the age of 21 can also pick it up for free at a youth clinic five days a week.

I've had the map, but I don't think it was levonorgestrel. It was tri-soething or other. I'll answer anyway :)

How many times have you taken the 'map'?
Only once

Why did you take it?
No condoms were available, and we got a bit carried away!

What side effects, if any, did you experience?
None. The doctor who gave it to me said that the old ones used to cause nausea, but that the ones he was giving to me didn't.

In the UK...you go to the doctor. They make a prescription. It's free.
Or you can buy them over the counter in pharmacies. I'm not sure how much it costs - it wasn't available when I had mine.

Am I tight or not?

I live in montreal, Canada, and it's very easy to get. you go to a free clinic and they give it for free. they do some checks first like blood pressure and stuff.

How many times have you taken the 'map'?
Once

Why did you take it?
Because the condom broke and it was at my really high risk time

What side effects, if any, did you experience?
Bad cramps, a headache, nausea and spotting for 2 days after I took it

It was easy. All I had to do was call my Doctor and tell him what happened and the next morning (this happened at 8 pm) as soon as the pharmacy opened, my doctor called it in for me and I picked it up with no problems. I live on the East Coast of the USA.
