two pill questions...

I have two questions about the pill:(just normal ones I guess...but I couldn't find the answers anywhere!)
1- If you skip a period(iee- go straight to the next pack) when do you get your period next? Do you just not get it until you take the next placebo pills?
2- Does your period ALWAYS come on the placebo days?

Yes, it only comes on the placebo days, and it should always come on every set of placebos.

I guess its different for everyone but my period doesnt come untill like the 3rd placeo days and my last day will still be on when I start the new month.
If youre just starting you may miss a period, if your body is adjusting, but if you miss more than one see your doctor.

You won't get it until you stop taking the ACTIVE pills. I don't have placebo pills in my pack, but it's the same, I just have a 21 day pack then 7 day break.

My period usually comes about 3 days after I stop taking the active pills.

the reason why your period doesn't come until a few days after you stop taking the pills is this:

pregnancy prevention responds to the pills. your menstrual cycle responds to the LACK of pill. let's say you take your pill every day at 10pm. you finish your last pill, and then wonder why your period hasn't come a day later. Well hell, your body is still expecting a pill at 10pm the next day. it generally takes around 2 days for your body to realize, hey, I'm not GETTING those hormones anymore. Time for a period.

as for skipping the placebos, this is okay, once in a while. it's not recommended that you do it often though. once in a while, likely your period will come when you start taking the placebos again. If you do it twice in a row though, you'll likely get spotting randomly, and your period, when it DOES come, might me heavier and/or longer.

okay...so in theory, if you want to end your period a little early, you can stop taking the placebo pills and jsut go on to the new regular pack, and it will stop?

Not really... once you get the period, you've got it for however long and heavy it's going to last.

It will catch up on you.
