So I'm flying out of Perth tomorrow night and I'm kinda not sure what I'm gonna do with myself on the plane because I'm not always interested in movies and I'm only taking a couple of books so I was thinking of taking my PSP, my question is, does anyone know if I'm gonna be able to play it on the plane?
Thanks for any help

People listen to their mp3 players and stuff like that on the plane. Some even use laptops if they brought them. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to.

It's a little late now, but take your stuff with you and, at worst, some over zealous flight attendant will tell you to put it away.

For future reference, when you book your flight you can ask the Booking Agent as to whether electronics will be allowed on this flight.

Some planes can tolerate electronic interference, others can't.

BTW, where are you going?

Last stop will be Dallas/Ft Worth, with pit stops in Melbourne and LA

Based on absolutely nothing I have established your geological location to be... Antarctica!

Perth, dude. it's in his profile there on the left. *headdesk*

Oooh... DALLAS! You'll be only 3 hours away from me! and yet we'll never see each other...

As long as there's no radio/internet/cell phone on the thing, they tend to be okay once the complete take off is done, and before starting to land.

The last planes I was on... you could CHOOSE the movie you wanted to watch on the back of the seat in front of you. There was also, apparently, a USB jack. kinda kickass!

it's allowed. I bring my DS all the time. They ask they you have headphones or put it on silent while on the flight as the game noises do not disturb passengers.

Booking... agent? Haven't those been obsolete since the discovery of e-commerce?

I always wondered about that. Apparently, there are planes out there whose wings fall off if you don't turn off your cell phone when you're told. I'd like to know which planes these are, so I avoid them. :D

I checked this once, on a flight from Toronto to Saskatoon, in one of those new CRJ200 planes they have. At max altitude I had a strong signal and could have called home (yay bell?)

the plane didn't suddenly fall from the sky
