This is by somebody in my forum, SerenePoets (SP)... I really really REALLY loved it, and I just wanted to share it with everybody here. I know it should prolly go in the Writing forum, but this isn't really about relationships or to a certain person anyway... please read!!! Thx! And replies and comments and criticism would be greatly appreciated by the both of us :wink:
one pen scratches the blank paper
kissing the gentle autumn leaves
leaving a trail of auburn tears
as though streaks of sun were stained
tainted lyrics touched by unknown
depths of demons who touch our ankles
with bubbles carrying secreted answers
and our voice dies with our wind
pious roams with its brother unhappiness
for our sister love is buried beneath tactics
waiting for the day of lovely grace
and we disdained reputed despised
could it be we face our truths alone
like a lone word standing on edge
in line like tin soldiers
and swords pierce our hurtful soul
shadows unlike it's dear dark
mixing with nocturnal sleep
as i aught it were stalking
a piece of twine bounding together
dealing with the scratches we encounter
the quota of our hearth
dwindling the stream of life
as though a tidal wave was upon us.
