Ok, Been Out For A Good While

that is the whole dating, meeting new people scene. Been in a relationship for 10 yrs., it went south, I laid around & moped about it, now I've seen someone I think, if nothing else comes of it, to talk to & maybe go out. But I don't even know the first place to start with getting my feet wet again, what to say, or anything. I know, kind of stupid, but, anybody got any pointers in the right direction??

Focus on just making friends of the opposite sex and then the whole dating thing will come natural later.

If you have hobbies outside of the home, get involved. The best way to meet new people is by being yourself and not trying so hard. If you like to bowl, join a league. If you like to read, hit the library a couple times a week. This will keep you occupied and help you establish a connection to the outside world.
